Welcome

The
Spirit and the Bride Say "Come".
Consecration to Jesus through Mary
Most loving Jesus, Eternal and Incarnate Wisdom,
I give thanks to you who emptied yourself, taking on the form
of a servant, that I might be rescued from the "power
of darkness and brought into the light of the kingdom of God."
I thank you for your joyful submission in all things to Mary,
your Blessed Mother; a submission foolish in the sight of
this world but one that opens a door to peace and happiness
for me.
Jesus, you know how weak I am, how I have failed you in living
out my baptismal promises, how I can not faithfully live the
life of truth, beauty and goodness without the help of your
grace. Your Mother, who held you in her arms as a little baby
and again at the foot of the Cross, knows my weakness. With
thanksgiving, I entrust myself to her, saying with her and
through her, "Your will be done." Amen.
"Only faith can embrace the mysterious ways of God's
almighty power. This faith glories in its weaknesses in order
to draw to itself Christ's power." Mary, Ever Virgin
and Ever Mother, you are the supreme model of this faith for
you believed that nothing was "impossible with God."
You, Living Tabernacle of the Power and Wisdom of God, accepted
shame and foolishness, willingly and joyfully identifying
with Christ, who, crucified, became "the power of God
and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser
than men and the weakness of God is stronger than men."
You, Woman Worthy of All Trust, believed first and your faith
now draws me, in my poverty and brokenness, to seek refuge
in your love and mercy. I come to you as a little child to
give myself to you and ask you to receive my vows and the
offering of my weaknesses. I, N. , foolish and weak, called
and chosen by God to shame the wise and the strong -renew
and ratify today in your hands the vows of my Baptism; I renounce
forever Satan, his rituals and works; and I give myself entirely
to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after
Him all the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him
than I have ever been before.
Mary, Spouse of the Holy Spirit, I choose you today and
consecrate to you, as a fool for Christ, my body, my soul,
my goods-both interior and exterior-as well as the value of
all my good actions, past, present and future; leaving to
you the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all
that belongs to me, according to your good pleasure, for the
greater glory of God, in time and eternity. Mary, I trust
you.
Read silently a prepared list of all that I relinquish and
entrust to Jesus through Mary.
Final and daily prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ, through your Blessed Mother, Mary, grant
to me the freedom and happiness to be a fool for you today.
Amen. Jesus and Mary, I trust you.
