Title of Position:     Case Manager (0915SSVF-CPA)

Position Type:        Full-time, Non-Exempt

Pay Range:             $20.60 per hour

Prog/Dept/Loc:       Supportive Services for Veteran Families – Lock Haven, PA

This position provides case management services for approximately 15-30 Veteran households at a time, supporting development and achievement of individual housing stability plans. Ensures service delivery through adherence to VA and agency requirements. This role operates across a 13-county geographic area in Central Pennsylvania and meets with veteran households in the office and in the field.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services or related field preferred—equivalent education and experience considered; Minimum two years of case management experience required; prior program experience with social services and/or the non-profit sector preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Title of Position:     Healthcare Navigator (0905SSVF)

Position Type:        Full-time, Non-Exempt

Pay Range:             $20.00 – $23.00 per hour

Prog/Dept/Loc:       Supportive Services for Veteran Families – Multiple VMC Locations

The VMC is looking for full-time, successful and enthusiastic Healthcare Navigators to provide services that include connecting veterans to Veteran Affairs (VA) health care benefits or community health care services where veterans are not eligible for VA care.  Healthcare Navigators provide case management and care coordination, health education, interdisciplinary collaboration, coordination, and consultation, and administrative duties.  Healthcare Navigators work closely with the veteran’s primary care provider and members of the veteran’s assigned interdisciplinary treatment team.

Required Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field, preferred; at least two (2) years of experience in a health care or social services area of practice working with veterans or the homeless required; skills in community resource development, be well organized, a self-starter, able to work autonomously in the community and be able to work as a member of a team

Title of Position:     Housing Personnel (0915RARS)

Position Type:         Full-time & Part-time, Non-Exempt

Pay Range:              $12.00 – $13.00 per hour

Prog/Dept/Loc:        Residential Services – Coatesville, PA

Full-time (Monday-Friday) and part-time (Sat & Sun) Resident Housing Personnel facilitates the day-to-day operations of the Veterans Multi-Service Center Transitional Residence Program in the absence of, and as designated by, the Staff Manager or Program Coordinator. Resident Housing Personnel provide monitoring and surveillance during the program’s “non-office” hours to ensure the safety of the residents and compliance with the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the program.

Required Qualifications:  Minimum education requirements – High School Diploma or equivalent; excellent customer service skills; at least one (1) year’s experience working in a residential care facility. 

Title of Position:     Food Services Manager (0807FSMRS)

Position Type:         Full-time, Non-Exempt

Pay Range:              $18.25 per hour

Prog/Dept/Loc:        Residential Services – Coatesville, PA

Read recipes and/or product directions; research and create a variety of menu options to prepare and serve clients; must be able to read and interpret instructions and perform basic arithmetic used in food preparation; assist with the planning, preparation and subsequent serving of prepared food items; operates a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain and season food for cooking, serving and storing; inspects workstations for compliance with service standards; develop, track and maintain food and supply inventory; keeps records and requisitions for supplies/equipment as needed; cleans and sanitizes workstations and equipment following regulatory rules and procedures; provides general stocking duties in service area; complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures; demonstrate excellent customer service skills in daily interactions with clients (i.e., communication, listening, empathy, conflict resolutions, and maintaining a positive attitude).

Required Qualifications:  Minimum education requirements – High School Diploma or equivalent; excellent customer service skills; ability to read and interpret instructions and perform basic arithmetic used in food preparation; minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the food service industry (institutional setting preferred); Food Handler’s certification a plus; requires constant standing, walking, and frequent bending; must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted; attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
